Karyn Adams’ work in higher education spans nearly two decades, serving inside the academy in numerous leadership roles and as a consultant and strategist for institutions across the United States. Her experience includes all aspects of communications and marketing: integrated marketing and institutional branding, enrolment initiatives, capital campaigns, website redesigns, public-private partnerships, and crisis communications.

Before higher ed, Karyn worked in high tech to help launch an immersive imaging company through collaborations with diverse clients, such as NASA, Discovery Channel, Travel Channel, Motorola, Intel, and USA Today. She now leads the strategic and creative efforts of H·A ThirtyOne as principal and creative director. Newest to her list of titles is co-host of the firm’s podcast, 31Minutes, offering monthly episodes for sharing the best ideas to help inspire higher ed marketers, communicators, and leaders of all ilks.
