Finding inspiration outside of higher ed (a.k.a. how to rut-proof your creative edge) with Karyn Adams, HA ThirtyOne

The empty well: it happens to us all from time to time. If the academic campus and the enrolment/recruitment cycle has you in a rut, it’s time to explore ways you can find inspiration outside of higher ed. Keep your ideas (and your own higher ed chops) fresh and engaged. This session is also aimed at vice presidents, directors and leaders who are looking for ways, including structure and management tactics, to inspire their office to continue innovating.

Key takeaways:

1. Methods for re-fueling their creative engines when the cycle or the project or the schedule has their energies running low.2. Ideas for creating a work environment that better understands and respects the creative process and content development.
